Look Classy and Fabulous in Chanel

This week’s bag is the Chanel Jumbo Maxi Classic Flap Bag. It is part of Chanel’s classic line. This bag comes in a variety of colors but I chose to show the bag in red.  Of course since it’s a gorgeous bag and a Chanel you know it’s pricey. The price of this bag is $4900. Yea, I know…. But it’s Chanel!!! Here is a pic of Lala Vasquez rocking her Chanel Jumbo Flap.

But for those of you who like the style of this bag but don’t care about  having a designer bag there are a few options out there that you don’t have to sell a kidney for!

First option is this bag by Big Buddha. Price $80.99. Big Buddha Red Bag
A second option is this Marc Jacobs bag. Price $685

Another more affordable option is this bag by Luisaviaroma. Price $ $133.00 Luisaviaroma.

Whitney Houston

This week’s blog posting is dedicated to the late Whitney Houston. I was actually working on updating this blog on Saturday February 12, 2012 when I heard the sad news of Whitney Houston’s passing.  Like many other people I was shocked and didn’t want to believe it was true. Even the next day it was as if I just had a bad dream. Although I never had the pleasure of meeting Whitney Houston  or seeing her perform , she has always been a favorite performer of mine since I was a young child. One of my earliest memories is the “Greatest Love of All” video . Then there’s “I’m your baby tonight”, “I wanna dance with somebody”, and of course “I will always love you”.  I can name so many of my favorite Whitney songs but there are so many. Her music and voice are timeless.  Whitney was more than just a great singer, she’s an icon.  RIP Whitney Houston.
